Raunak Sadhwani was born on December 22, 2005, in Nagpur, Maharashtra, India. He learned to play chess at the age of four from his father, who is a chess enthusiast. Sadhwani quickly showed his talent for chess, and by the time he was eight years old, he was competing in tournaments and winning prizes.

Raunak loves to play cricket when he was young but unfortunately the club dose not allowed him to play as he was very young and to play for club he was supposed to reach the age of 11,so he decided to play chess till then and never switched back to cricket again.

He was good in studied to and only 15 days studies before final exams help him to score 80% marks. He regularly attends school and after that he devote for chess practice. Occasional he takes half day break from school, to prepare for his tournament
